Open-air museum

Seven Chairs Trail

It is a sculptural installation created by Pilar Balsalobre and Carlos Jiménez from the photoAlquimia studio for the Open-Air Sculpture Museum of Plana de l'Arc. This museum draws its inspiration from traditional chairs, a common piece of furniture in villages and a symbol of the custom of "going out to enjoy the cool air."

The installation consists of 7 chairs located along the network of green paths in the 7 municipalities that make up Plana de l'Arc. They are made of two materials: pine wood and hemp cord, and each chair is named after a stage of the route in Latin.

An extraordinary artistic project that promises to redefine the tourist experience in our region. Each of these giant bicycles is a work of art with a unique story. They serve as a link between the past, present, and future, embodying the concept of sustainability linked to cycling tourism. Each bicycle carries a message aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
