The Vicent Aguilera Cerni Museum of Contemporary Art (MACVAC) opened its doors in 1972, establishing Vilafamés as a key point in the world of contemporary art. It houses a collection of 700 avant-garde works within the Palau del Batle, an ancient palace from the 15th century, where the courtyard with the well and the chapel are preserved, among other features.
